From a family of 6, the secret to a clean kitchen is doing these 4 things:

+ putting the dirty dishes in the dishwasher after every meal or snack
+ wiping down the counters/most used cabinets every day
+ vacuuming after every meal (moms will get this, kids are messy!)
+ ensuring that the kitchen is picked up before going to bed every night

We started implementing these tips a few years ago and now our kitchen is usually (not always) clean when I wake up in the morning! Such a good feeling!
