The long overdue cozy modern traditional basement bathroom reveal is finally here! I’ve wanted to share this space for a while, but we still have a few more things to finish. I thought, what the heck? I’ll share it anyway!
I put together this design for our basement bathroom back in April, and it turned out way better than I could have ever imagined! I love love love the cozy vibe. This bathroom is for the kids and any guests that stay over. The kids are so lucky that they get this amazing bathroom!

We’re still waiting on our glass shower door to arrive and be installed. I also added tongue and groove to the wall with the door, but I need to finish a few trim pieces. Once completed, I’ll make sure to share more views of the bathroom.
The Vanity

Maximizing storage and function was my main goal when designing this basement bathroom. The star of the space is this white vanity from Signature Hardware, complete with a marble countertop. This is the 48” Robertson Vanity Cabinet in White. I love the modern design of the vanity with the oversized brass drawer pulls paired with the classic marble countertop. We chose the 48″ vanity, which perfectly fits our basement bathroom. The open shelf on the bottom was a perfect spot to add baskets for towels, toilet paper, etc.

The Shower
My second favorite feature is the black tiled shower. I chose this black tile from Alexander James Tile Studio and selected black grout to create a tone-on-tone look. It’s drool-worthy! We’re hoping our glass shower door will be installed before Christmas (fingers crossed).

Back in March, I picked out polished nickel-finished plumbing fixtures and just love the contrast against the brass mirror and lights.

The toilet paper holder and towel hooks are also from Signature Hardware in a brushed brass finish. I’ll share the towel hooks once the tongue and groove wall is finished. Stay tuned!
