Hello friends! I didn’t mean to ‘ghost’ you for two months and not write a single blog post. To say we’ve been busy is an understatement. You may have heard some exciting news that I will share on the blog later this week (or next depending on when I can find time). We’ve also been extremely busy working on finishing the basement, which includes the basement bathroom. I am so excited to say that our basement bathroom is DONE and I can’t wait to show it to you!
I wanted to start off by saying that I will link all sources throughout this post and at the end, and will include paint colors, grout colors, etc. I also partnered with Signature Hardware on a few pieces for our new bathroom. All reviews are my own honest opinion.

Now, on to the bathroom! If you missed my original bathroom inspiration board, you can check it out here. Let’s flashback to last November/December and look at what we started with. We’ve come a long ways!

Here’s a peek into our basement bathroom pre-drywall and flooring install. This is actually after the framers framed the walls and plumbing rough-ins installed. Before framing, it was just a giant, empty space.

Are you ready for the after?

I’m so so in love!! What do you think?
I changed the design slightly from my original inspiration by adding dark walls and white tile to the shower, but I love it more that I ever thought I could.

Signature Hardware has been so amazing to work with and sent me a few of these amazing pieces to complete our bathroom space. The 36″ Osa Teak Vanity is the star of our basement bathroom. The mid-century lines and white quartz countertop really pop against the dark green walls and white floors. I paired the teak vanity with this Signature Hardware Rotunda Widespread faucet in matte black. This modern style faucet mixed with the traditional, vintage touches of the bathroom creates an eclectic look that I fall in love with every time I walk by this space.

I specifically picked out the Key West two-piece Skirted Elongated Toilet because it has a solid base/skirt along the bottom with no plumbing tubes exposed. This makes for super easy cleaning and doesn’t collect dust or other icky bathroom things. I also love how quiet this toilet flushes. When we built, we upgraded the toilets throughout our home and I wish we would have selected this toilet throughout because it’s so comfortable. Can you tell I love it?

We opted for these white organic tiles for our shower and chose Fusion Pro White Arctic grout. I selected white penny tile for the floor, paired with Fusion Pro Bone grout. The walls are Sherwin Williams Rockwood Shutter Green; although, they appear black in certain lighting.

How pretty is this art from Ruth Leslie Art? I love painted landscapes and Ruth’s art does not disappoint. So pretty! I’ve been following Ruthie for years on Instagram and was so excited to see the amazing art she’s creating. Not only does she offer original and printed pieces, Ruthie’s art has the most hilarious names and stories behind each piece.

Across the bathroom from Ruthie’s art is this towel view. I purchased this towel bar about a year ago for a different project and never used it. We actually have this towel bar in brass in our other bathrooms and I love it’s simplicity. I’m glad I saved the bar when we didn’t use it in our other project because it looks great in this space! Also, how cozy are these Turkish towels from The Loomia?

I painted all the doors in our basement Classic by Clare Paints and it is the perfect greige color. I know greige colors can be hard with either a purple or green undertone, but Classic is the PERFECT greige color. This was my first time ordering from Clare Paints and I loved that I could order online and they shipped directly to my door. It was so easy! I will definitely order more paint from them in the future.
So what do you think about our basement bathroom? What’s your favorite part? Mine is definitely the vanity paired with the dark walls. Stay tuned for the family room basement reveal, later this week!
Looks amazing! Where did you get that light from? The link is t working, thanks!
Thanks for letting me know, I’ll update the post 🙂 Here’s the link to the light! https://rstyle.me/+trle5a6cv6IzwSdyAFXvZw
